Can I use the free public transport?

The festival offers free transport to the event from CBD locations. These buses are wheelchair accessible buses to accommodate patrons of different mobility levels.

What sensory considerations are there?

At night the festival site is a low-light environment throughout pathways and the broader event site due to the event taking place at night. Festoon and lighting towers are used to light amenities, pathways and site areas, however dark areas are still present.

The site features significant amplified music from a number of sources as well as moving lights, large LED screens and at peak times, large crowds.

What is the venue access like?

The festival site itself is a grass area, with hard sandy/rocky ground. The site has natural undulations and uneven ground.

Access around the catering area, to wheelchair accessible toilets and throughout the Village area has concrete and concrete paths. Some tree roots and undulations may still be apparent through this area.

It is important to note that the site is large around 250m long and 200m wide with amenities and experiences spread across the footprint. While the ground is firm, it can be rocky and undulating in places. Patrons with restricted mobility or those using mobility aids may need to consider this walking distance. Seating is available around the site.
