May is set to be an epic month in the Territory, with a huge week of events leading into BASSINTHEGRASS 2025 – giving you even more reasons to head north and soak up the Top End vibe.
It all kicks off with back-to-back AFL action at TIO Stadium in Darwin, as the Gold Coast Suns face the Western Bulldogs on Saturday, 10 May, followed by a clash with Hawthorn on Thursday, 15 May—the official opener for the iconic Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
Then, it’s time for the main event.
On Saturday, 17 May, BASSINTHEGRASS takes over Mindil Beach for a day of non-stop music in paradise. This year’s stacked lineup features Hilltop Hoods, Meg Mac, The Jungle Giants, Cyril, Luude, Jax Jones, and a host of homegrown legends – guaranteeing a day to remember.
