Since 2003, BASSINTHEGRASS has been the Territory’s ultimate rite of passage—a chance to gather the crew on the palm-fringed edge of Mindil and kick off the Dry Season properly. It’s a ritual that draws thousands of fans from across the country, and one you’ll find yourself coming back for year after year.

We’re breaking new ground in 2026 with our freshest line-up to date. Over 50% of the artists are making their BASS debut, bringing the best of the national scene to our own backyard.

We’ve also given the site a serious glow-up. You’ll find a massive increase in shade across the grounds this year, giving you plenty of space to retreat and recharge between sets. The Mindil Markets are back again too, with a range of affordable food options—from your favourite laksas to fresh smoothies. We're also making sure you stay hydrated without breaking the bank, with bottled water and cold drinks available for just $4 across the entire site.
